(Its 8’x40’ floor plan is supplemented by generous 9’5” height; most 4 Seasons Container Homes designs are based on the new “high cube” containers.) Shipping containers are already the perfect shape to be repurposed into homes, so a home built out of them is less expensive than a same-sized home built traditionally.

Can be placed on approved slab style foundation or concrete pier foundation (recommended). Concrete blocks and railroad ties also can work!
Joining containers together is how we create one-of-a-kind homes that fit your design. We can stack containers to give you height, weld them together for a wider space, or join them side by side.
If you feel confident that your property will not have any issues with site accessibility by a flatbed truck (up to 75ft in length) and crane accessing within 30ft of the desired building location, we suggest going with this option.
This assessment is designed to review your property information for truck and crane logistics and to provide you with a budgetary estimate for the shipping, crane, installation, and schematic design proposal to move onto the next steps.
If we feel that a truck and crane will have issues accessing the site we will recommend a site visit to measure the access and to develop a truck staging and crane lift plan.
The cost for a site visit is $2,000 ( Refundable & credit from the deposit).

The General Contractor then connects all site utilities to the home once the container home landed and has been welded to the foundation.
The Final walkthrough and keys are given to you.
Decks, railings, stairs, air-conditioning & main floor foundation, etc are completed by the contractor after the container home is installed on the foundation.

With an 8’x40’ floor plan and a generous 9’6” height, the CH 1.40 is a perfect structure for a guest house, pool house, office, or modern tiny home – with all electrical and plumbing components installed. It can be welded onto a permanent foundation. The powder-coated steel walls are rust- and fire-resistant.
Its 320 square feet include a bathroom with shower, kitchen, living room, and bedroom; the look and feel of each room are customizable. Climate is controlled by the in-wall split-system AC unit. There’s the option of a 16’x12’ deck.
Each container can attach to another, so the space and features are multiplied. The ultimate shape and utility of each multi-container design are limited only by your imagination.

The house is only 165 square feet, but doesn’t scrimp on counter space in the kitchen.
The standard layouts for these units provide owners with a bathroom + shower, a kitchen, some sort of work and dining space, and a living room that converts into a sleeping area.
The kitchen comes fully loaded with micro-size appliances and includes a fridge, an induction stovetop, a microwave, and plenty of storage space. The space also uses a bright teal blue on the cabinets add a pop of color and really brighten up the space and the bathroom uses corrugated iron for an interesting industrial look.
